Thanks to The Sims 2: H&M Fashion Stuff, your Sim will never have
to look the same again. Now your Sim can be the centre of attention
as they walk down the street in their new fashionable clothing,
specially created by H&M designers.
One
morning Danielle Smith anxiously awoke in her house in Pleasantview,
as today was the day that the new H&M Pleasantview store opened
up in town! Danielle got dressed, called a taxi and headed over
to see the new shop. When she got there she was in awe with all
the stylish neon H&M lighting and the welcoming Great Gate door.
As she ventured in, she noticed an outfit she liked from the wall
display. It was a stunning green striped dress with a tie-up bow
in the middle.
"It's a must have!" she said as she swiftly put it in her basket.
After browsing around a little longer, to her amazement she realised
that all the H&M outfits came with matching accessories too. As
there were over 60 items to choose from, Danielle decided to browse
the racks for what she wanted.
"Let's start with the swimwear," she said to herself.
Sadly the H&M fashion pack didn't make any swimwear for ladies,
so she decided to buy some swimwear for her husband instead. When
she looked she realised there was only one style of swimwear for
guys, but in three different colours, which disappointed her. As
H&M fashion also doesn't include any underwear or pyjamas, Danielle
decided to move onto everyday clothing.
"Wow,
there are so many outfits to choose from!" she exclaimed excitedly.
Luckily for Danielle, every outfit cost $200 simoleons, so she could
buy a few outfits without breaking the bank. Included in the outfits
were flirty dresses, shirt dresses, mini-skirts and trendy trousers
with tank tops. Danielle knew she only had $600 simoleons to spend,
so she had to think carefully. In the end she decided to buy another
outfit for herself and one outfit for her husband - a red sleek
dress with a matching bracelet and open toe shoes for her, and a
sophisticated white striped suit for her husband. To make sure her
two dresses would look as good as she thought they would, she went
to try them on in one of the handmade clothing booths.
When
Danielle was happy with her purchases, she went to the counter to
pay for her new items and started to leave. Leaving was hard though,
as the store had such uplifting modern music playing in the background,
enticing her to stay longer! She decided right there and then that
she would definitely be visiting the other two H&M stores - H&M
Sim City and H&M Veronaville - very soon, stores that were designed
as a recreation of the real thing.
Apart
from the three stylish stores available, you can also create your
own store with H&M features, which include H&M lighting, banners,
display cases, staircases and much, much more. The outfits are available
in the stores, or in Create-A-Sim. You can also create your very
own catwalk, where your Sim can model your favourite outfits. If
that's not enough, there's also a design kit available to download,
which lets you design your very own outfits.
The
Sims 2: H&M Fashion Stuff offers lots to the player, as there are
new stores, objects, clothing and even the chance to create your
own designs and place them into your game! Most of the clothing
is for women, but there is some trendy clothing for the guys and
also some bits and pieces for the teenagers. One thing I noticed
is that the new H&M clothing mainly consists of complete outfits;
there are no shirts to buy separately, and a limited range of jeans
available on their own. As this is an add-on pack you will need
The Sims 2 before you
can start playing.
The
Sims has always been a huge hit, with new expansion packs popping
up all the time. The Sims 2: H&M Fashion Stuff is a great add-on
for most Sim 2 players, as you can inject your creativity into the
game by designing your own clothes, as well as using the pre-made
outfits. If you're bored of the same clothes and stores or you're
a Sims fanatic who buys every expansion pack, then at such a reasonable
price this one is definitely worth picking up!
