Getting Cheats

Purchase tokens in the center of Thorntail for 20 scarabs.  Now take the tokens to the maze guarded by the huge Stone Guard above the waterfall.  Look for the well and throw the token in with the c stick.  Go to the main menu and to options to see the cheat you unlocked.

Snowhorn Wastes - Swim to the end of the river to find the well.

Moon Mountain Pass - Plant a Moon Seed in front of the second Krazoa shrine.

Lightfoot Village - Become a member of the Lightfoot tribe. When you run across a distressed mother who says her children are underground, help her out by finding them for her. Once you get them out of the underground, she'll help you find the well.

Cape Claw - Use the Portal Device to take control of the cannon, shoot at the platforms near the starting point. Explore the holes you created to find the well.

Volcano Force Point - Take Moon Seeds back to the Temple (after snagging the third Spell Stone). Drop down next to the second gate and plant the Moon Seed, and use it to get to the well.

Ocean Force Point - Take the Portal Device to the temple (after getting the fourth Stone). Go past the elecrified floor to the portal door, through which you will find the well.

How to Get to the Volcano Force Point Temple

When you get the spell stone at Dark Ice Mines
fly to Thorntail Hollow.  When you land a Thorntail will say the beacons aren't lit.  Go to the FIRE WEED TREE and hit it, when flame thingies come down hit em (the flame balls hurt you).  Then place the balls on the beacons and use Tricky flame command.  When you finish you'll get a key.  Then go to Moon Mountain Pass, dodge the barrels, open the gate, and PRESTO!

Get Three Red Scallops

Go to the thorn tail shop go down by the game plas. BUT don't go in. so your down their look at the wall with designs on it then walk in to it and their is a rook with three red scallops under it.

Beat Musclefoot

This is the Lightfoot Test of Strength.  If you are slow at speed button pressing, try to do these 3 things.  First, when you begin, start pressing with your thumb.  Second, when he starts to push harder, switch to your writing index finger.  Lastly, if he manages to overcome this, try using both of your index fingers.  This should do it. If this doesn't work I don't know what else can. I did it this on my 5th try.)

The 'Pen Trick'

When you do the test of strength in Lightfoot Village, beating Musclefoot can be a real pain in the neck. If trying to tap 'a' isn't working, the pen trick will make quick work of him. All you have to do is get yourself a pen and rub it (not the ink part, of course, but the shaft) across 'a' as fast as you can. I beat Musclefoot in under 10 seconds using this method

Defeating Andross

To kill Andross, shoot the eyes and diamond-shaped symbol on the Krazoa-like head. Andross will turn around and spew meteors at you, which you must shoot. Then, he will try to swat you, so shoot the symbols on his hands. Then, he will suck you in his mouth and then spit you out. Repeat this several times to defeat Andross.

Grub Tub Escape

When you go to collect the 6 white grub tubs you use fireflies to find them and get yourself out. Once you collect all 6 of the grub tubs at one time press pause and save your game then quit. load up your file and you will be in front of a ladder that takes you back up to Thorntail Hollow give the queen them and she will tell you where to go next

Sharpclaw Race-to-Tricky Death Trap

Enter the race and when the track first splits, go to the left. Cut across the road (hit the corner of the snow, like a ramp, and keep turning right in midair) and go into the tunnel, but make sure your in front for the next step: STOP IN THE TUNNEL. (Yes, smack in the middle of the path.) The Sharpclaws will nail you in the rear of your snowmobile. Last, finish the race, in style.

Secret Hidden Room

Ok, first go to the Thorntail Hollow Store (ya know, the one with the disturbing floating hag that owns it).  Any whey, you go there and take an immediate right or left, then follow the path till you get to a dungeon with the store keeper in it.If you talk to "it", you can gamble. Never mind that. Turn straight around and walk into a big brick wall.  If you walk into the right wall, you'll go right through it and you'll be in a room with a huge rock in it. Flip it over with your staff (by using your beloved A button), and collect your prize

Free Pass Without Paying

When you and Tricky first arrive at cape claw to find the queen of the cloud runners. You will see a brontosaurus jump and thrashing near the end. When you go up there to processed through the game a guard that you run into awhile ago stops you and you must pay. But if you don't want run into the water and swim to the back of the dinosaur. There will be a staff rocket launch pad. Now use the Staff boost upgrade. Then you can talk to the dino without paying the guard money.

Helping Bunnies to Mazes to Drive Through

1.After you beat the dinosaur ship and your at krazoa palace run to the far east before you bomb your way inside look for the two pegs indicating there's a latter there climb down and jump across the gaps to reach a hoping really furry brown thing with long ears if you get it is kind of like a fairy in Ocarina Of Time (tm).

2.When you go to the maze underneath the warp stone look to your left jump across the two ledges to walk on top of the maze like in Ocarina Of Time (tm) walk on the walls till you find something you like then drop down and get it.

3.After lightfoot village beat the two sharp claws by the target trees and go to you see a huge wooden scarab press (A) and listen to what he says through the box (like a drive through) pay your scarabs and enter cape claw

Easy scarabs

Go to the shop on dinosaur planet with the salesmen with no legs go to her games room bet 1 scarab win the game (you must win)then leave the room but instead of turning go straight through the wall in front of you the lift the rock with your staff and a few scarabs will appear collect them (worth 3 each)repeat this process until satisfied

Get tricky to change a different color(shade)

Go to center of thorntail and buy a ball from the green lady thing who sells you stuff. then once you have bought the ball, play catch with tricky, with it , after a while you will see that its color has changed.  (when i was playing it went from a pinkish color to a dark blue!!!)
