GCDC 2007 Opens Call for Papers

Europe's Most Important Game Developer Conference, GCDC, Has Begun Accepting Speaker Submissions

Leipzig, Germany - March 19, 2007 - GCDC has opened its call for papers and is currently soliciting keynote speeches, lectures, and panels focusing on new trends in game development, business, and science. The conference already has an impressive program in the works and is particularly interested in speakers who can provide market insights, overviews, trend reports, and evaluations of new technologies as well as real world development knowledge. "Our goal is to continue to present a high-quality program of accomplished speakers in the areas of game development, business, and emerging technology for videogames," said Frank Sliwka, project director of GCDC. "This year we have added more sessions and developed additional tracks to ensure we are showcasing an even greater variety of topics for our attendees."

GCDC, now in its fifth year, draws developers, publishers, and academics from all over the world. The conference takes place at the Leipziger Messe in Leipzig, Germany, August 20-22, 2007. Immediately following GCDC, the GC (Games Convention), Europe's benchmark fair for interactive entertainment, infotainment and edutainment, begins on August 23rd.
