In an ‘ask the devs’ thread on the Ubisoft forums, the developers of the Playstation 3 exclusive Haze, today revealed that the game will require a 4 GB install to the hard drive – or there abouts. In what seems to be a gradually increasing trend, game data is stored on the hard drive to reduce or remove loading times. In this case it’s the latter, according to their IGN.com Developer Blog. Whilst some don’t mind the trade-off, others are against it and would at least like such installs to be optional and not mandatory.
