Not only is your brain too old, but it might be too cold, too!
Studies conducted by the Hot Brain Institute have proven that there are a lot of cold brains in the world today. Luckily the ridiculously-hot minds at Midway are just days away from releasing Hot Brain, the mind-bending, brain training game that will be available exclusively for PSP this summer.
In this final e-mail, we will focus on the two remaining categories inside Hot Brain, Language and Concentration.
Language Category
Master the written word with these games designed to test linguistics. Hot Brain, helping the world master vocabulary since 2007.
Alphabet
ABCD is easy, but how fast can Satellite, Monkey, Hangar and Jumble be put in alphabetical order? The player must use alphabet knowledge and speed to master this game.
Spelling Bee
Put phonics to the test and identify the misspelled word in the group. By the way, who's the wise guy that made the word misspell so easy to misspell?
Picto-Rhymes
It's Rhyme Time! A picture, image, or icon is presented with four words. The player must then choose which word rhymes with the name of the object being displayed.
Concentration Category
Time to hone the concentration skills and test the mental endurance as Hot Brain presents three games dedicated to focus. Now take some time to think about what we just said.
Untangle
This game becomes a cat's dream and a concentration nightmare. The player is presented with four sets of yarn, one on the right and one on the left. Each ball on the left is connected to one ball on the right. It's up to the player to figure out which one is connected to which, without accidentally knitting a new scarf.
Shape Up
If you've ever wondered what would happen if you combined a trapezoid, an ellipse and an isosceles triangle, this game's for you! The player will see several scattered pieces of simple shapes, and then have to determine which complex shape can be assembled from those pieces.
Combine
The player must view a portion of a shape, and then select the correct counterpart to complete the requested shape. Talk about being a few squares short of a circle!
