Konami announces via their monthly newsletter that they would be offering the PC version of their Marvel Trading Card Game for free!

The email reads as: "Konami's Marvel Trading Card Game is getting ready to launch for the Nintendo DS?, PSP® system, and PC platforms! Now fans can join the superhero card battling action online for FREE thanks to a chance to download the game from www.marveltcgonline.com. Learn the rules in the basic singleplayer game, then go online to the official site to participate in officially sanctioned tournaments, buy "booster packs" to enhance your deck, and even trade cards with other members of the online community. Improve your skills and battle your way up to the top of the player rankings!

The free Marvel Trading Card Game is only on the PC at this time, compatible with the Windows operating system. Minimum system requirements are Intel Pentium III 800 Mhz processor (or equivalent), 128 MB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 2 or ATI Radeon 8500 video card or higher, Direct X 9.0c, and 3 GB free hard drive space."
