Sega Bringing Armored Core 4 to Xbox 360, PS3

Sega of America has announced today its plans to publish Armored Core 4, the latest installment in FromSoftware's popular mech-combat franchise, for the Xbox 360 and PS3.

FromSoftware is a very talented team that specialize in developing mech-based combat games," said Scott A. Steinberg, Vice President of Marketing, SEGA of America, Inc. "Building on the success of Chromehounds, we believe that Armored Core 4 will deliver an action-packed experience that will not only cater to the diehard fans, but will attract new fans to the mech-based combat genre."

With the recent release of Chromehounds on the 360, FromSoftware has already proven its capabilities in crafting a high-quality next-gen mech action game (as if the developer's stellar history in the genre wasn't proof enough already), so if you're a mech fan expect nothing but good things when Armored Core 4 hits the Xbox 360 and PS3 in North America in Spring 2007.
