CONSOLE WRITERS WANTED

Help create the world's best console gaming site by becoming a reviewer, interviewer or feature article writer!

AceGamez is expanding and we're looking for new staff.

Do you live and breathe console gaming? Have a flair for writing? We are seeking talented news writers, game reviewers and interviewers for all the major platforms including: Xbox 360, Wii, PS3, PlayStation 2, PSP, DS, PC, GameCube, DVD and GBA.

We are looking for mature people who can work well together and who want to be part of a team. In particular, we are seeking people who can understand the "big picture" and apply their enthusiasm and knowledge of the world of gaming towards positive, useful content.

Qualities we are looking for:

- Integrity and honesty

- Intelligence and maturity

- An excellent command of the English language, with the ability to communicate ideas through writing in an interesting manner.

- A sense of humour is also a plus. Requirements:

- You must be at least 16 years of age (ideally over 18) and write and speak in fluent English.

- You must be proficient in grammar and spelling and demonstrate an excellent writing style.

- You must be able to work well within groups and teams.

- You must have enough spare time to be able to perform the job.

- You must be able to complete assignments before deadlines.

- You must own a high-end personal computer with a reliable Internet connection (preferably broadband).

- Prior writing experience is a plus, but not required.

- Preference is given to UK residents however we do accept applications from other countries.

HOW TO APPLY

We require a covering letter telling us about yourself and why you think you deserve to be part of our team. We are also interested in finding out about your hobbies and interests, your interest in gaming, and the types of games you prefer. Please also include details of previous writing experience and any other samples you feel are appropriate.

In addition, we require a sample review or article that you have written of at least 800 words (there is no upper word limit) and we'll let you know what we think!.
